TURKEY FTAs now in place
To date, our country has signed 36 Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Turkey FTAs, 11 of which have been concluded with
countries of Central and Eastern Europe and this country has been terminated due to EU membership.
Twenty FTAs are currently in place (EFTA, Israel, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Palestine, Tunisia, Morocco,
Egypt, Albania, Georgia, Montenegro, Serbia, Chile, Mauritius, South Korea, Malaysia, Moldova, the Faroe Islands,

On the other hand, after completion of internal approval procedures, A free-trade deal FTAs of Lebanon, Sudan,
Venezuela and Qatar will come into effect.
Free Trade Agreement Turkey
In addition, revision agreements for updatingand extending the reach of existing FTAs were signed
with EFTA, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro, and the texts signed with Serbia were
entered on 1 June 2019. It is intended to conclude agreements with Georgia, Malaysia, and Moldova
in the near future with a view to updating the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Turkey FTA.

Turkey and Syria of an Association Agreement dated 6 December 2011 have been suspended.
